The statement was made by Undersecretary of State and ministry spokesperson Lt. Gen. Maly Socheata, News.Az reports, citing Xinhua.
Speaking at a press briefing, she said the airstrikes hit Chok Chey village, resulting in the destruction of civilian homes and public infrastructure.
Lt. Gen. Socheata also stated that the Thai military fired artillery shells into a civilian residential area in Poipet Municipality, also located in Banteay Meanchey province.
