Israel renews strikes on Lebanon despite ceasefire

Israel has carried out new attacks on Lebanon despite agreeing to a ceasefire with Hezbollah a day earlier, increasing concerns that the move could undermine wider efforts toward a US-Iran truce, News.Az reports, citing Al Jazeera.
According to reports, Israeli aircraft targeted the heights of Sajd and al-Rayhan in the Jezzine region.
The latest strikes came after Israel and Hezbollah reached a ceasefire agreement, raising questions over whether the continued military action could threaten broader diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions in the region.
