A magnitude 6 earthquake, at a depth of 10 kilometers, struck east of Russia's Kuril Islands, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), News.Az reports citing foreign media.
On August 3, another 6.8-magnitude earthquake was reported in the Kuril Islands, triggering tsunami warnings in parts of Russia.
