UN Security Council to hold Iran meeting Friday — diplomatic sources

The UN Security Council is set to convene a closed-door emergency meeting on Friday to address the decision by European powers to reimpose sanctions on Iran in response to concerns over its nuclear program, according to diplomatic sources, News.Az reports citing foreign media.
The meeting will take place at 10:00 am (1400 GMT) at the request of France and Britain, the sources said.
