The astronauts set to be launched into space today have arrived at the launch pad after donning their suits and completing one final task.

At 6:24 p.m. ET on Wednesday, four astronauts are set to launch from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, embarking on a 10-day journey that will take them around Earth and the moon.

A rocket from SpaceX blasted off from Florida early Friday carrying two U.S. astronauts, a French astronaut and a Russian cosmonaut on an eight-month science mission to the International Space Station.

SpaceX is set to launch the Crew-12 astronaut mission to the International Space Station for NASA today (Feb. 13) at 5:15 a.m. EST (1015 GMT).

SpaceX and NASA successfully completed the Crew-10 mission to the International Space Station (ISS) on Saturday, with all four astronauts safely returning to Earth aboard the Crew Dragon spacecraft.

SpaceX and NASA said on Friday they plan to launch the space agency's Crew-9 mission to the International Space Station (ISS) no earlier than Aug. 18.
