NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA) has achieved a milestone that no chip company has ever reached before.

Chinese stocks closed another strong week of gains, fueling debate over the sustainability of a rally that has defied the country’s economic challenges, adding $1.3 trillion in market value so far this month, News.Az reports, citing Bloomberg.

The combined market value of the world’s top 10 insurance companies has fallen 3.9% since the start of the year, shedding $57.3 billion in the first eight months, according to companiesmarketcap.com.

Shares of Nvidia soared to a record high on Thursday, pushing the chipmaker’s market value beyond $3.6 trillion for the first time in history.

Tesla shares plummeted nearly 9% on Friday, erasing about $60 billion (£45 billion) from the company's market value, following the much-anticipated unveiling of its robotaxi, which failed to impress investors.
