The Israeli army has called on hundreds of thousands of Palestinians to leave Gaza City immediately, directing them south toward Al-Mawasi and central refugee camps as attacks intensify.
The Israeli military said Saturday it is establishing a “humanitarian zone” in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, southern Gaza, ahead of expanded military operations in the enclave.
At least five children were killed in an Israeli drone strike on the Mawasi area in southern Gaza, which Israel has previously designated as a “safe zone,” local health officials reported Tuesday.
