Revenue from Russian oil exports has climbed to its highest level since the start of the war in Ukraine, driven by higher shipment volumes and rising crude prices amid tensions involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.

Azerbaijan exported 20.648.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas in January–October 2025, marking a 3.23% decrease compared to the same period last year, News.Az reports, citing the State Customs Committee.

The finance ministers of the Group of Seven nations announced on Wednesday that they will take coordinated action to increase pressure on Russia, targeting those continuing to buy Russian oil and those facilitating its circumvention.

Revenues of State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan, included in consolidated budget, will increase by AZN 36 mln. or 16.9% and reach AZN 14 billion 190.2 million in comparison with a confirmed indicator of the current year, says Finance Ministry.
