San Siro, one of the world’s most iconic stadiums and nicknamed football’s La Scala, is on track for demolition after Milan city hall approved its sale to the city’s football giants, Inter and AC Milan, early Tuesday.

AC Milan and Inter Milan have reportedly reached an agreement with local authorities for the acquisition of the San Siro stadium and the surrounding areas.
