Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has convened an extraordinary defence council after reports that explosives were discovered near key gas infrastructure connecting Hungary and Serbia.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic accused protesters in Novi Sad of attempting to burn people alive during anti-government demonstrations, while Interior Minister Ivica Dacic reported dozens of police injuries and widespread unrest across the country.
