Azerbaijani prosecutor seeks life sentence for Ruben Vardanyan
The public prosecutor has requested a life sentence for Armenian citizen Ruben Vardanyan, who is facing trial in Azerbaijan on charges including crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, terrorism, financing of terrorism, and other serious offenses.
Court proceedings in the case continued on December 18 at the Baku Military Court, News.Az reports, citing local media.
During the hearing, the prosecutor addressing the court called for Vardanyan to be sentenced to life imprisonment.
