Azerbaijan’s population nears 10.2 million
Azerbaijan’s population increased by 16,376 or 0.59% since the beginning of 2024, reaching 10,197,146 as of June, News.Az reports citing the State Statistical Committee.
The population distribution data shows that 54.5% of people live in urban areas, while 45.5% reside in rural villages. In terms of gender, 49.8% of the population are men, slightly outnumbered by women who make up 50.2%.
