Paris 2024: Azerbaijani wrestler loses his chance for medal

Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Turan Bayramov lost his chance to win a medal at the Paris Olympics, News.az reports.

The athlete's opponent in the 74 kg weight category, the representative of Albania, Chermen Valiev, to whom the Azerbaijani wrestler lost with a score of 3:4 in the 1/8 finals, failed to reach the final.

Bayramov lost the mentioned chance, as Valiev lost to Uzbek athlete Razambek Jamalov in the 1/4 finals.

To note, the Paris Olympics will end on August 11.
