Poland fortifying Belarus border

Poland is modernizing and fortifying its border with Belarus, Polish Minister of National Defence and Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz has said, News.az reports citing Gazeta.ru.

According to him, the fence is being modernized and reinforced, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the presidential administration are making “regular decisions” for the security and impassability of the Polish border.

“If we are talking about a whole strategy, connected not only with the border strip itself but with various kinds of military reinforcements, then I would like this process to begin this year,” Kosiniak-Kamysz said.
