Two US fighter jets make emergency landing in Japan

Two US Air Force F-35 fighter jets were forced to make an emergency landing at Matsuyama Airport in Japan’s Ehime Prefecture after running low on fuel, News.Az reports, citing Japanese media.
As a result, a civilian flight from Osaka experienced a 13-minute delay before it could land.
This incident follows a similar emergency landing by a US Air Force helicopter in Kanagawa Prefecture on October 10, 2024.
