Uzbekistan to ban using wild animals for entertainment at circus

Uzbekistan will ban using the wild animals for entertainment at the circus from January 1, 2025, News.Az reports, citing nova24.uz.

The ban will apply to state and traveling circuses. It will also become illegal for individuals to keep wild animals in captivity.

Wild animals included in the list can only be kept in zoos, terrariums, oceanariums and serpentariums created by legal entities with permission from the Ministry of Ecology.
