WHO chief travels to Congo as Ebola cases rise

The head of the World Health Organization said Thursday that he was traveling to the Democratic Republic of Congo, where an Ebola outbreak is exceeding the global response capacity, News.Az reports, citing Reuters.
"16 times, this country has defeated Ebola. The 17th will be no different. But we must act now, together," said WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on X.
