BP, operator of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) oil field, has announced that December 30 marks 20 years since the first oil was produced from the West Azeri platform, a key milestone in the development of the giant ACG field.

According to operational data for January-June 2024, Azerbaijan produced 13.7 million tons oil (including condensate).

In the first half of 2025, Azerbaijan produced a total of 25.2 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas.

The Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) field generated $6.16 billion in revenues from the start of last year through January 1, 2025.

The Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field generated $4.603 billion in revenues from January to October 1, 2024, News.Az reports, citing the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ).
