European plane maker Airbus said Thursday it plans to deliver a record number of commercial aircraft in 2026, citing strong demand and a sharp rise in profit in 2025.
Airbus delivered about 60 aircraft in August, leaving the world’s largest planemaker needing a record pace of handovers to hit its annual goal of 820 jets.
