Azerbaijan’s presidential special representative, Elchin Amirbayov, met NATO Deputy Secretary General Radmila Šekerinska in Baku on Thursday to discuss the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia and prospects for Azerbaijan-NATO cooperation.

Jafar Huseynzada, the head of the Azerbaijani Mission to NATO, held a meeting with Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, the Chairman of NATO’s Military Committee, at the Alliance’s headquarters in Brussels.

Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, has visited NATO headquarters in Brussels for a series of high-level meetings.

The United States has commended Azerbaijan’s ongoing commitment to its partnership with NATO.
