China has strongly opposed new U.S. sanctions targeting three China-based companies accused by Washington of supporting Iran’s military activities, pledging to defend the rights of its firms.
China said it does not support attacks on Gulf countries and condemned strikes targeting civilians and non-military facilities, a spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.
