A deadly passenger bus accident in western Afghanistan has left two people dead and 51 others injured, according to local authorities.

At least five people were killed and 16 others injured in a series of traffic accidents on Wednesday in western Afghanistan’s Herat province, local authorities reported.

According to United Nations sources, the Taliban has halted the distribution of humanitarian aid to women in some districts of Herat, informing aid organizations that only male family members will be allowed to receive assistance from now on, News.az reports citing foreign media.
