Mashhad airport in northwestern Iran was reportedly attacked on Sunday as US-Israeli airstrikes continued.

The IDF confirms the Israeli Air Force bombed an Iranian refueling plane at Mashhad Airport in northeast Iran, some 2,300 kilometers from Israel, marking the “most distant strike since the beginning of the operation.”

In a groundbreaking moment for Iranian aviation, an all-female crew piloted a flight carrying 110 prominent women to Mashhad International Airport on Sunday, marking a historic milestone.

The body of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, killed in a helicopter crash, was brough to his hometown Mashad on Thursday.
