Tropical Storm Peipah has left 24 people wounded and 40 houses damaged in four municipalities in the central Japanese prefecture of Shizuoka, local media reported.
Typhoon Peipah struck Kochi Prefecture on Japan’s Shikoku Island early Friday, bringing heavy rainfall and prompting weather warnings across the region, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency.
