AMD shares slide after weak quarterly revenue outlook

Shares of Advanced Micro Devices fell more than 6 percent in early trading in Frankfurt on Wednesday after the company forecast a slight decline in quarterly revenue, fueling investor concerns over its ability to compete with Nvidia in the rapidly expanding artificial intelligence market.

The stock had already closed Tuesday’s regular trading session down 1.7 percent, News.Az reports, citing Reuters.

Despite the latest drop, AMD shares are still up 13.1 percent so far this year.
