Azerbaijan remains one of main gas suppliers of Turkey
Turkey imported 5,574,000,000 m³ of gas in December 2016, up 4.37% from 5,341,000,000 m³ in December 2015.
Of this, 4,278,000,000 m³ was transported by pipeline, 1,296,000,000 m³ as LNG.
During the reporting period, 2,820,000,000 m³ was imported from Russia, 872,000,000 m³ from Iran and 594,000,000 m³ from Azerbaijan.
By the way, Turkey’s gas consumption in December increased 1.75% to 5,376,000,000 m³.
