Central Bank of Azerbaijan unveils strategic initiatives on green finance

The financial sector has a great role in supporting the transition to the sustainable economy in Azerbaijan, said Aliyar Mammadyarov, Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

He made the remark at the panel discussions themed "Green economy as an alternative for the development of economies" within the framework of the Election Group Meeting held in Dushanbe.

Mammadyarov also talked about the strategic initiatives implemented by the CBA towards building a functional ecosystem for green finance.
