Eurozone consumer confidence drops in August

Eurozone consumer confidence decreased by 0.4 points in August compared to July, according to today’s figures, News.Az reports citing RTE .

The European Commission said a flash estimate showed euro zone consumer morale decreased to -13.4 this month from -13.0 in July.

Economists polled by Reuters had expected a rise to -12.6.

In the European Union as a whole, consumer sentiment fell by 0.1 points to -12.3.
