Micron to build $9.6B AI memory chip plant in Japan

U.S. chipmaker Micron Technology plans to invest 1.5 trillion yen ($9.6 billion) to build a next-generation memory chip plant in western Japan.
The facility will focus on producing memory for artificial intelligence computing, News.Az reports, citing Reuters.
