New Armenian emergency minister appointed
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has signed a decree to appoint a former deputy minister of defense as minister of emergency situations.
Speaking to Tert.am, sources from the ministry said Davit Tonoyan will conduct his first meeting with the staff on Monday afternoon.
Tonoyan was the first deputy minister of defense since 2010.
The former minister of emergency situations, Armen Yeritsyan, died on November 13, 2016.
