New charges brought against former President Robert Kocharyan

The Special Investigation Service of Armenia pressed new charges against the second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, Kocharyan’s defense team reported.

In addition to Article 300.1 of the criminal code of Armenia which is about overthrowing the constitutional order, Robert Kocharyan is now charged also under Article 311 (part 4 point 2), which is about receiving a bribe of a particularly large amount.
