Russian soldier detained in Armenia on suspicion of killing woman

A soldier of the Russian military base in Gyumri was detained on suspicion of killing a local resident.

Report informs citing Interfax that the due information was provided by Armenian Prosecutor General's office.

The department refused to comment on other issues.

Earlier it was reported that the criminal case was initiated into the fact of the killing of a 57-year old woman in Gyumri on December on 3. The woman died after being brutally beaten.
