UN reports 1,500 ships, 20,000 crew trapped in Gulf

Arsenio Domínguez, secretary-general of the UN’s International Maritime Organization (IMO), stated that approximately 1,500 ships are stranded in the Gulf due to disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz.
Speaking at the Maritime Convention of the America in Panama, Dominquez said approximately 20,000 crew are also stranded along with the vessels, News.Az reports, citing Al Jazeera.
