US sanctions Nicaragua vice minister over alleged human rights abuses

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Saturday that the United States is imposing visa sanctions on Nicaragua's vice-minister of the interior, Luis Roberto Cañas Novoa, for alleged involvement in human rights violations, News.Az reports, citing Reuters.
