Operations at 13 airports in southern Russia were temporarily suspended on Friday after drone strikes hit the administrative building of the Southern Russia Air Navigation branch in Rostov-on-Don, Russia’s Transport Ministry said.

Operations at Germany’s Cologne/Bonn Airport were suspended after a technical failure disrupted the passenger security screening system.

Temporary restrictions on operations of Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl and Moscow airports were lifted, said the press service of the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency, Rosaviatsiya.
