Iraq’s North Oil Company said Wednesday it resumed oil exports through Türkiye’s Ceyhan port, restarting crude flows from the Kirkuk fields after nearly three years of suspension.

Iraq intends to reactivate an inactive pipeline that will allow oil to be directly transported to Türkiye's Ceyhan port, bypassing the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), according to Iraqi Oil Minister Hayan Abdel-Ghani.

Iraq on Friday announced that oil exports through Türkiye's Ceyhan Port would resume in the coming hours by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) with an initial amount of 185,000 barrels per day.
