At least 31 civilians were killed as a result of last night’s Indian strikes on Pakistan, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has announced.

The Pakistani military has shot down five Indian fighter jets in retaliation for late-night strikes launched by its neighbouring country at six sites, including in Punjab’s Sialkot and Bahawalpur, as well as Jammu and Kashmir.

Baku on Wednesday expressed its solidarity with Islamabad after Indian strikes on Pakistan.
