The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has added traditional Japanese knowledge and skills involved in the production of sake and "shochu" distilled spirits to its Intangible Cultural Heritage list, News.az reports citing foreign media.

Azerbaijan’s traditional tandır craftsmanship and bread baking have been officially included in UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
