The ruling "Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia" party has reiterated its commitment to maintaining the law prohibiting LGBT propaganda, despite acknowledging that it may hinder the country’s integration into the European Union for several years.

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili has reportedly declined to sign a bill that would impose a ban on LGBT propaganda.

The Georgian parliament has passed a bill banning LGBT propaganda and gender reassignment in its third and final reading.
