A lawsuit filed in the US on behalf of LinkedIn Premium users accuses the social media platform of sharing their private messages with third parties to train artificial intelligence (AI) models.

An Irish regulator overseeing data privacy within the European Union announced on Thursday that it has fined LinkedIn, the professional networking platform, €310 million ($335 million) for violating users' personal data rights related to targeted advertising.
