A LOT Polish Airlines passenger aircraft was forced to return to Warsaw shortly after departure following a lightning strike during climb, aviation sources report.

A LOT Polish Airlines Boeing 737 operating on the Baku–Warsaw route made an emergency return to Heydar Aliyev International Airport this morning after a passenger onboard suffered a sudden medical emergency, according to the airport.
