Italy's Saipem has been awarded two significant offshore contracts in Saudi Arabia under its existing Long-Term Agreement with Saudi Aramco, with a combined value of approximately $1 billion.

Senegal joined the club of oil-producing countries on Tuesday as Australian group Woodside Energy announced that production had started in the west African country's first offshore project, News.Az reports citing AFP.
