Poland has signed an executive contract to receive 180 additional South Korean K2 tanks, including 64 units of the K2PL version, tailored to meet the Polish army's specifications.

"Poland is ready to increase the number of troops at it eastern border and provide them with better equipment amid increased tensions in the country's relations with Belarus and Russia," Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz said on Wednesday, News.az reports citing Sputnik.
