Spring Storm 2026 has officially begun in Estonia, bringing together troops from more than 20 countries in one of the largest multinational military exercises in the Baltic region.

The large-scale military exercises Spring Storm 2026 have commenced in Estonia and are set to continue for nearly a month.

Two men on their way to help with rescue efforts were found dead on Friday after a spring storm drenched parts of northern Italy and dumped more than a metre of snow in other areas across the Alps, shutting ski areas, halting transport and killing at least one other person.
