A 13 year old boy was left in critical condition after a stabbing near a school in Hamburg on Monday, with police detaining two teenage suspects following a large scale search operation.

Kevin Johnson, a former NFL defensive lineman who played for the Philadelphia Eagles and the Oakland Raiders during the 1990s, was stabbed to death in Los Angeles, authorities said. He was 55 years old.
