3.6 magnitude earthquake hits northwestern Azerbaijan

A 3.6-magnitude earthquake jolted Azerbaijan’s northwestern district of Samukh on Wednesday.
According to the Republican Seismic Survey Center, the tremors were recorded 46 km northwest of the Mingachevir station, in the Samukh district (the Mingachevir reservoir), News.Az reports.
The earthquake was felt in settlements near the epicenter, with a magnitude of up to 3.
