Azerbaijan’s State Oil Fund eyes increasing gold reserves

The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) plans to raise its gold reserves to 170 tons by April-May 2025.
As of last year, SOFAZ held 146.6 tons of gold, valued at $12.4 billion, News.Az reports, citing local media.
The price of gold saw a 27.22% increase in 2024.
