European stock futures plunged on Thursday following U.S. President Donald Trump's announcement of additional tariffs on trading partners, escalating a global trade war that could drive up inflation and hinder economic growth, News.Az reports, citing Reuters.
EuroSTOXX50 and DAX futures both fell around 2.3% by 0658 GMT, while FTSE 100 futures were down around 1.7%.
