Snap presidential elections will be held in Iran on June 28

"Snap presidential elections will be held in Iran on June 28," said Press Secretary of Election Headquarters of the Islamic Republic Mohsen Eslami, News.az reports citing Mehr News Agency.

"June 28 can be considered as the day of Presidential elections in Iran," Eslami emphasized.

Registration of candidates, who will participate in presidential elections, will start from May 28 regarding death of Ebrahim Raisi.
