UAE closes embassy in Tehran

The United Arab Emirates has announced the closure of its embassy in Tehran.
The UAE also withdrew its ambassador from Iran, the UAE Foreign Ministry said in a statement, News.Az reports.
The move marks a significant downgrade in diplomatic relations between the Gulf Arab state and Iran amid escalating tensions in the region.
